VICTORIA — The Sri Lankan Muslims Community of Victoria (SMCV) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday August 16 at the Central Park Community Centre.
The new Board of Management has been elected for the year 20205/2026.
Mohideen Imran was unanimously elected as the President of SMCV,
The newly appointed office bearers and committee members are as follows:
President – Mohideen Imran, Deputy President – Prof. Imriyas Kamardeen, Vice President – Mrs. Hafza Zarook, Secretary – Imrad Illiyas Assistant Secretary – Razeen Mustafa , Treasurer – Hisny Muzammil , Assistant Treasurer – Mrs. Fathima Muhajireen
Committee Members – Arshad Uzair, Iqbal Ariff, Zahran Saheed, M Hassan Haniffa, Shiyam Mohamed, Saajidh Nizam, Riyaz Lafir, Sabir Saleem, Rifaz Marikar and Ms. Nuha Izmi.
The AGM concluded successfully with valuable input from members, reaffirming SMCV’s commitment to serving the community and strengthening unity through educational, social, and cultural initiatives.
