NEW DELHI : Dr M H M Rafeek from Sri Lanka was awarded the ‘Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Samman Award 2023 ‘at the 3rd World Congress on Traditional Medicine 2023 which took place in New Delhi on Monday July 24.
Speakkng to Colombo Times, Dr Rafeek described it as a great honour in appreciation of his. 35 years of services in the medical field.
He said that it was a great opportunity to share his thoughts and views on Traditional Medicine and Iridology at this this International congress .
” I was able meet and connect various Medical professionals along with bringing in innovation solutions for the traditional medicine,” he said , adding that he intends publishing a book on ‘Traditional and Alternative Complementary Medicine and how it links to Iridology with the help of experts from this field ‘.
” Being part of this conference was truly a memorable journey sharing and encapsulating well renowned medical professionals from across the globe such as joining hands together from Canada ,Australia ,India ,Sri Lanka ,Malaysia ,USA ,Philippine and UK which was truly heart warming and a blessing, ” Dr Eafeek said.
