A Message of Solidarity from Sri Lankan Inter Religious Leaders of National Interfaith Clergy Fellowship of Sri Lanka, Ven. Dr. Sasthrapathi Galagama Dammaransi Nayaka Thero, Rev.Dr.Siva Shri Babusaarma Kurukkal, Al-Haj Ash-Seyed Dr. Hassan Moulana Al-Quadiri and Rev. Father Dr. Nishan Sampath Cooray.
The undersigned religious leaders representing the Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, and Christian communities of Sri Lanka, express their deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the people of Nepal following the recent devastating floods.
Thoughts and prayers are with all those who have lost their loved ones, homes, livelihoods, and communities in this tragic disaster. Extend Their deepest sympathies to the bereaved families and stand in solidarity with everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.
At this difficult time, Religious Leaders pray for strength, courage, and comfort for the families who are grieving, and for the safety and wellbeing of all those affected. Also honour the dedication of the rescue workers, volunteers, humanitarian organizations, and all those working tirelessly to provide assistance and relief.
As people of different faiths, their come together in a spirit of compassion, humanity, and solidarity. May the people of Nepal find strength and hope as they recover and rebuild their lives.
