COLOMBO : The ferry service scheduled to operate between Sri Lanka and India from May 13 , has been temporarily halted due to a technical issue.
The proposed service is from Nagapattinam in India to Kankasanthurai in Sri Lanka.
Ports, Shipping, and Aviation Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva confirmed that the boat service was initially planned to commence on the 13th. However, on two occasions, the service failed to start.
