COLOMBO: Sri Lanka gifted a sapling of the Sri Maha Bodhi to the visiting leader of the Vietnamese delegation on Thursday,March 23.
The Chief incumbent of the Rathnamali Maha Stupa Temple in Anuradhapura presented the sacred sapling to the most Venerable Thich Minh Quang who was heading the Buddhist delegation from Vietnam. The ambassador of Vietnam, Ho Thi Thanh Truc was also present during the presentation held at the Stupa Temple.
