COLOMBO: Sri Lanka Air Force officially handed over the renovated Ward No.3 of National Institute of Mental Health, Half-way Home Mulleriyawa and also conducted a special donation program on 15 February 2022. Essential commodities for patients were donated to the Hospital staff by Air Force Station Colombo. The project was carried out under the guidance of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana and on the instructions of the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo, Air Vice Marshal Dilshan Wasage.
A pirith chanting was arranged to mark the completion of the renovation and commencement of treatment facilities at the Ward. Officers, airmen and airwomen representing Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo and staff of the Mulleriyawa Hospital participated for the event.
