COLOMBO ; A special traffic plan will be implemented in a section of the Galle Road in view of the upcoming Independence Day ceremony.
Accordingly, the stretch of Galle Road from Kollupitiya Junction – Galle Face and from Ceramic Junction – Galle Face will temporarily remain off limits for traffic until 04 February.
The road closure is effective from 06.00 a.m. – 08.30 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. from 29 January to 02 February and again from 02.00 p.m. on 03 February, 2023 until the conclusion of the Independence Day ceremony on 04 February, the Police said.
