Special Hindu Religious prayers performed for the well-being of Lankans during Covid pandemic

COLOMBO —  Special Hindu Religious Ceremony was held at the New Kadireshan Kovil in Bambalapitiya on Saturday at the request of the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs to protect our country and people from the Covid 19 Pandemic.  Coordinator to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa for Hindu Religious and Cultural Affairs Dr. Babu Sharma Ramachandran Kurukkal, Director of the Department of Hindu Religious and Cultural Affairs A.  Umamageswaran and the Trustees of the Kovil  Rajendran Settiyar were also present during the ceremony.
