COLOMBO : Showers will occur at times in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts today (26), the Department of Meteorology stated.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Uva province and in the Batticaloa and Ampara districts after 2.00 p.m., the Met. Department added.
Meanwhile, the general public has been requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
