COLOMBO : Vidyajyothi Emeritus Professor Rezvi Sheriff was specially honoured by the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) at the 138th Anniversary International Medical Congress.
Vidyajyothi Emeritus Professor Lalitha Mendis was also honored at this occasion in the similar manner.
The Inauguration Ceremony and the SLMA Oration 2025 Awarding of the Fellowships was held on Wednesday recently at Hotel Cinnamon Grand,Colombo.
Professor Steve Turner, President, Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health from United Kingdom participated as a Chief Guest.
Director General of Health Services, Ministry of Health Dr.Asela Gunawardena and President of the Indian Medical Association Dr.Dilip Banushali participated as Special Guests.
Dr.Anil Jasinghe , Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media was the Guest of Honor.
President of the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) Dr.Surantha Perera presided the function.
