COLOMBO :Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud has arrived in Colombo on his first official state visit to the country.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud arrived at 1.30 am on Monday morning on March 14 at the Colombo airport.
On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Prince Faisal was received by Sri Lanka’s Minister of Justice, Ali Sabyi, and the Saudi Ambassador to Sri Lanka Abdulnasser Al-Harthy.
Officials of the Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kingdom’s embassy in Colombo were also present on the occasion.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud is set to pay a courtesy call on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The visiting Saudi Foreign Minister is scheduled to leave for Nepal later during the same day.
