RUZAIK FAROOK
COLOMBO — A New OBA Auditorium of TB Jayah Zahira College Colombo was opened on Saturday October 19 at the College premises.
The auditorium was funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Khalid Hamoud Nasser Aldasam Al Khatani declared opened the auditorium.
Zonal Education Office Director Colombo P.R. Devabandu and Mushan International Chairman Muslim Salahudeen were also present as special guests.
Principal of the College M.R.M. Manzil delivered the welcome address.
TB Jayah Zahira College Colombo was established in 1935 and presently there are 650 students and 50 teachers.
The College presented awards to the students who achieved Grade five Scholarship and G.C.E. O/L Examination year 2023.
The under 17 Soccer players and Co-Curricular Activities achievers Zonal Level and Divisional Level competitions. The Awards were distributed by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Khalid Hamoud Nasser Aldasam Al Khatani, Zonal Education Office Director Colombo P. R. Devabandu and Mushan International Chairman Muslim Salahudeen at this ceremony.
The Principal presented a token of appreciation to the chief guest and special guests on behalf of the College.
