RIYADH : Acting on the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia has contributed $30 million (SAR 9,150,000,000) as part of its continued support to Palestine.
In recent years, Saudi Arabia has provided approximately $5.3 billion in assistance to the Palestinian people. This reflects the Kingdom’s sustained commitment to humanitarian, relief, and development support for Palestine.
Saudi Arabia continues to support its Palestinian brethren by working to improve their livelihoods, address economic and humanitarian challenges, and ease their suffering.
This significant humanitarian aid aligns with Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to support the Palestinian government and people, reflecting its deep sense of responsibility toward the Palestinian cause.
The latest assistance was officially handed over today by the Deputy Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Jordan, Hon. Muhammad bin Hassan Munis, to the Palestinian Minister of Finance at the Saudi Embassy in Jordan.
This is neither new to Saudi Arabia nor unexpected. It reflects the ongoing humanitarian assistance that Saudi Arabia has consistently extended to the Palestinian cause. Such support dates back to the era of the Kingdom’s founder, King Abdulaziz, and continues through to the current leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman—offered sincerely for the sake of Allah, without seeking thanks or reward from anyone.
Saudi Arabia has never deviated from its steadfast commitment to providing both political and economic humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.
