COLOMBO : Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador in Sri Lanka , Khalid bin Humoud Al-Qahtani hosted a grand reception to celebrate the foundation day of the Kingdom at the ITC , Ratnadeepa Hotel in Colombo on Friday, Feb. (20).
The event was graced by the Minister of Health and Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa as chief guest , Deputy Minister Muneer Mulaffer, Deputy Speaker Dr. Rizvi Salih, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Sri Lanka People’s Congress Party Leader Rishad Bathiudeen, Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Party Leader Rauff Hakeem, Members of Parliament S. Uduma Lebbe, Adambawa, Rajamanickam Chanakyan, Mujibur Rahman and many former Members of Parliament.
Members of the diplomatic corps representing Iran, Malaysia, China, Nepal, Turkiye , Indonesia,Oman, Qatar, The Maldives, UAE, Russia and several other countries were also present in addition to senior ministry officials.
