Russian citizens in Sri Lanka gets a chance to cast their votes in Colombo

COLOMBO : The Embassy of Russian Federation in Sri Lanka has invited its citizens to take last in the elections of deputies to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the ninth convocation on September 20, at polling station No. 8338 at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Sri Lanka,
404 Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07, Sri Lanka.

Russian citizens, both permanently residing and temporarily visiting Sri Lanka and who have reached the age of 18, have been invited to exercise their constitutional right to vote. The polling station will be open on September 20, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (local time).

To cast a vote it is required to visit the afore-mentioned polling station during its working hours with documents certifying your Russian citizenship. Pre-registration to participate in voting is not required.
