NEGOMBO- On a request made by a member of the Pannala Pradeshiya Sabha, M.M.M Shafeek, the foundation stone was laid for a public library in Bamanna on Sunday.
The chairman of the Pannala Pradeshiya Sabha,Ranjith Lansekera laid the foundation for the Rs 1.6 million proposed library. Mohamed Shafeek, member of the Sabha also spoke at the meeting.
