COLOMBO: History repeated on Saturday, the 5th of August when Royal College retained the Bradby shield for the seventh consecutive year.
D.S. Senanayake Shield, Mustang Trophy and Bradby shield all three were last won in 1990.
After 33 years Royal made it again.
In 1990 the rugby team was captained by Ruwan Jayasuriya and the cricket team by Udaya Wijesena.
In 2023 Rugby team is captained by Randul Senanayake and the cricket team captained by Dasis Manchanayake.
