COLOMBO — Representatives from the Rotaract Clubs of Colombo West, Colombo Cinnamon Gardens, and Colombo North met with the Ambassador of Palestine Ihab I.M.Khalil at Embassy premises on Thursday 5th. formally bringing the Palestinian Embassy on board as the official advisory partner for Project ” Souq of Hope ” a Pre-Ramadan fair aimed at community engagement and humanitarian awareness.
The initiative is jointly organised by the Rotaract Clubs of Colombo West, Cinnamon Gardens, North, and Fort, in collaboration with the Interact Clubs of Colombo North, Carey College, and Isipathana College. Souq of Hope is scheduled to take place on the 14th of February from 9.00 a.m. onwards at the Hyde Park Grounds.
The partnership marks a significant milestone for the project, strengthening its cultural, humanitarian, and social impact ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
