COLOMBO : Managing Director of the Traveller Global, Rizmi Reyal was elected president at the Annual General meeting of the of the Peoples Park Management Corporation for the third consecutive year on Friday in Colombo.
The meeting was held at the Liberty Ball Room, Ramada Hotel Colombo and the event was sponsored by the Alliance Insurance.
Speaking after the general elections, the newly elected president Reyal said : “ I am greatly honoured to state that out of the 197 unit owners 191 members have voted for me, which showed the confidence reposed in me by the members.”
“ I wish to thank all the stakeholders of the PPMC for participating and extending their support and taking part in the event with a lot of enthusiasm, to make the event successful and memorable,” Reyal added.
The newly appointed Chairman thanked Deputy Mayer Mohamed T. Iqbal, MMC Saman Abaygoonawardana,members from the CMA and officials from the PHI office Dam street Police and other invitees for participating in the event.
Besides the committee members, other elected key officials included, Secretary- S.P.A.John and Treasurer-M.V.Jayarajah.
