


COLOMBO : The New Generation Asia Youth Top40 Awards were held on June 12th,2025 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo, jointly organized by ‘WIM’ and ‘New Generation’ under the patronage of ‘Soorya’. A panel of 5 judges selected 40 entrepreneurs from thousands of applicants. The event was graced by the presence of Hon. Deputy Minister of Digital Economy (Eng) Eranga Weeraratne, Mr. Takafumi Kadono, Country Director, Asian Development Bank), Mr. Ajith Rohana (Senior DIG), Dr. Sulochana (Founder, WIM), and many others.
Raza Malhardeen was presented with the ENTREPRENEUR OF THE SERVICE SECTOR AWARD at the event and Senior DIG Ajith Rohana Insignia, the TOP 40 YOUTH badge.
Raza Malhardeen was born in Kandy and raised in Mawanella. studied at Zahira College, Mawanella, and completed his degree in Computer Network Engineering from London Metropolitan University. He completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Peradeniya.
He is the Founder and Chairmen of PATH CAMPUS, The Managing Director and CEO of JM Media Production and College, and serves in the Sri Lanka Teachers Service. This prestigious award was presented in recognition of his significant contributions to youth empowerment and education consultancy in the fields of Information Technology, Innovation, Digital Education Technology, AI, Entrepreneurship, Human Rights, Media Training, etc., with over 10 years of experience. He is actively involved in teaching, social contributions, and Path Campus’s new social welfare projects.
It is noteworthy that last year, Mr. Raza was awarded the Young Entrepreneurial Journalist Award Jointly by the US Embassy, the International Labor Organization, The Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce, and SPARK.
