COLOMBO : The quarantine curfew currently in effect across the island has been extended until 4.00 a.m. on October 01 (Friday), the President’s Spokesman said here on Friday,September 17.
Continuous lockdown has yielded encouraging positive results in the reduction of death rate to 118 on Thursday and there is a remarkable drop in the number of patients too.
The existing conditions will apply during the lockdown period. Those who are engaged in essential services will continue to work as before.
