COLOMBO The President of the College of Palliative Medicine Prof. Samadhi W. Rajapaksa’s “ Glimpsing at the Journey of Palliative Care “ book launching ceremony was held at the BMICH on Saturday September 16.
The author of the book Prof. Rajapaksa presented maiden copy of book to Ven. Prof. Deniyaye Buddharakkitha thero and also presented to the special guests Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Sri Lanka Poj Harnpol and High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Sri Lanka Tareq Ariful Islam and others.
Dr. Lakshmi Somathunga, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Health, Prof. Kamal Perera, Dean Faculty of Indigenous Medicine University of Colombo, Dr. Vinya Ariyaratne, President of Medical Association, Sumith Abeysinghe, Chairman Finance Commission of Sri Lanka, Prof. Praneeth Abesundara and author’s wife artist Nisansala Rajapaksa and family members were present.
