

COLOMBO : The Princess Royal has described herself as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the monarchy who is committed to travelling around the country to support those ‘doing an incredibly good job’ as she petted a cow in Sri Lanka today.
Anne is known for her busy work schedule and she said there was a need to ‘get out and find out what’s going on’.
Her comments came at the end of a successful three-day visit to Sri Lanka with her husband where she was pictured carrying some of her bags down the steps of the plane when they first arrived on Tuesday.- Mail Online

HRH The Princess Royal was welcomed by the Vice President of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the British Defence Adviser to Sri Lanka at Liveramentu Cemetery on her first overseas visit to a War Graves site since assuming her role as President of the Commission.
