COLOMBO : Prabhash Subasinghe has tendered his resignation as the Chairperson of Export Development Board (EDB).
Subasinghe was appointed as the Chairperson of EDB replacing Indira Malwatte, who announced her resignation as the Chairperson of EDB on 19th November 2019, ending an over four-year stint.
Prabhash Subasinghe is an ambitious and astute entrepreneur with a distinguished track record and diverse business interests in rubber, seafood, insurance, banking, real estate development and has become a true Asian success story at a very young age.
He is the Chairman of Global Rubber Industries (Pvt) Ltd., Managing Director at Global Sea Foods (Pvt) Ltd., and Chairman at Sri Lanka Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Rubber Products.
