COLOMBO — Pettah Cosmetic Association has organized Seven-a-Side Indoor Cricket Tournament for the second consecutive year on January 30 from 8.00 a.m. at the Sports World, Negombo Road, Peliyagoda.
The Jersey-Launching Ceremony was held at the Acropol Restaurant, Colpetty on Sunday January 23. Dayakantha Perera MMC was present as a chief guest and launched the Jerseys.
The President of the Association Nilantha Perera said this match has been organized only among the cosmetics traders. Champion team will receive the cash prize of Rs 100,000, Runners up team will receive cash prize of Rs 50,000 and Second runners up will receive Rs 25,000 along with trophies and medals
Also he said Best Bowler, Best Fielder, Best Batsman and Best Catcher will receive cash prize rupees of Rs 10,000 ten each and Man of the Series will receive cash prize of Rs15,000 at this tournament.
There are sixteen teams participating namely Lolane Lions, Rainbow Super Kings, Royal Blues, Aalia’s -7, N.R. Kings, Pettah Essence, V.S. Strikers, Cosmetic Kings, Black Caps, Golden Giants, S.L.C. Warriors, Colorful Guys, Colombo United, Lulu, Revance Stars and Pearl Kings in this tournament.
