COLOMBO : A high-profile public forum titled “Assessing the Dimensions of the Israeli–US Aggression Against Iran” was held on Wednesday at the Mahaweli Centre Auditorium in Colombo.
The event was organized by the National Center for Studies and the Anti-Imperialist National Forum, in cooperation with the National Freedom Front (NFF).

- Mohan Samaranayake, Senior Political Analyst
The event drew significant attention from journalists, political and cultural figures, civil society representatives, and members of the diplomatic community.
Participants strongly condemned the Israeli–US strikes targeting Iranian cities, residential neighborhoods, and civilian and nuclear infrastructure—declaring them clear violations of international law and norms.
A petition denouncing the aggression and expressing solidarity with the people of Iran was signed by attendees.
