NEGOMBO – Muslim youths in a Whatsapp Group donated two pulse oximeters worth Rs 240,000 were donated to the Negombo District Hospital on Saturday, Aug.28
State Minister of Health Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle call for people to donate medical supplies and equipment to the hospitals in their own areas to cope with the increasing number of patients in hospitals.
The presentation was made by the youths from Periyamulla headed by Sarooj Sathar, Dr. Chintaka Bandara and Dr. Rimzeena from the same hospital.
The new oximeters will add to the existing set of eight pulse oximeters that were catering to patients from 30 beds in the ward.
