COLOMBO- Desperate consumers who were affected by the shortage of gas took to the roads at Armour Street and blocked the roads jamming the traffic to show their protest against the government’s careless attitude towards the consumers’ problems.
On intervention by the OIC at the Grandpass police, the crowd dispersed on an undertaking that they will be supllied gas on Monday,May 9
