COLOMBO: Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana informed the House that in terms of the provisions of Standing Order 123 of the Parliament and the motion agreed to by Parliament on February 10, 2023; the Committee of Selection had nominated members to serve in the Committee on Economic Stabilisation.
The nominated members are Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi, Harin Fernando, Jeevan Thondaman, Shehan Semasinghe, Tharaka Balasuriya, C.B. Rathnayaka, Wimal Weerawansa, Namal Rajapaksa, Nalaka Godahewa, Sudarshini Fernandopulle, J. C. Alawathuwala, Sivagnanam Shritharan, Hector Appuhamy, Akila Ellawala and Waruna Liyanage.
