In a momentous inauguration ceremony, Wajid Hassan Hashmi, Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan in Colombo, officially opened the Pakistan Livestyle Exhibition at the BMICH in the Sri Lankan capital.
The event, spanning five days, commenced on Thursday, Feb. 1 with a symbolic ribbon-cutting and candle-lighting ceremony.
The Acting High Commissioner’s presence added prestige to the occasion, signifying the robust bonds between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Exhibitors from across Pakistan are showcasing a diverse array of high-quality products, including fashion and lifestyle items, traditional embroidered clothing, premium quality bed sheets, handmade crafts, exquisite jewelry, beauty products, leather goods, sports equipment, furniture, carpets, shoes, and more. The exhibition serves as a platform to strengthen cultural ties and promote the rich tapestry of Pakistani craftsmanship.
