LONDON : One crew member from the downed F-15 fighter jet has been rescued, two US officials have told CBS News.
The crew member was rescued by US forces, according to the officials.
A U.S. fighter jet was shot down over Iran and a search and rescue operation was underway for any survivors, a U.S. official told CBS.
The F-15E is a two-member crew aircraft. The search and rescue mission is ongoing, CBS News confirmed.
