BATTICALOA: People in the Eastern Province protested for “Political solution with dignified rights for people of North East” at the Gandhi Park in Batticaloa Friday, August 5.
More than 160 people from Batticaloa district, civil organizations, women’s organizations, and activists participated in this protest and demanded a political solution with dignified rights for the affected North East people.
Also, the next stage of the protest will be held on Saturday Aug,06th at 10:00 am in Nawaladi in Jaffna district.
