COLOMBO : Much awaited Night Rider film was screened in Colombo on Sarurday morning in Colombo on July 23.
The actors made their appearance personally during the maiden show held in a theater in Colombo/
Night Rider” revolves around a struggling common man in Colombo, ‘Malinda Nuwan’, a cab driver who meets ‘Shani Sooriyabandara’, a woman of mid thirties who takes him through the taxi ride of his life. The story is of a night full of adventurous series of incidents, where ‘Shani’ is followed by an influential gang with the intention of ending her life. ‘Malinda’ gets into the middle of an existing problem of ‘Shani’ unexpectedly, where his life as well as his loved ones’ including his mothers’ and girlfriends’ lives too fall into a life threatening turning point. However, during this terrifying series of events, Malinda and Shani find themselves in a romantic encounter. The journey is full of action, terror, curiosity and excitement, which end up in a remarkable twist that audience never expected.

Kasun is a movie fanatic, hardcore academic, writer, film director, well known film critique, political activist, free thinker, incorrigible dreamer, erstwhile bass guitarist who hopes never to experience the eternal sunshine of a spotless mind.
