COLOMBO : The National Meelad-Un-Nabi Celebration – 2025, commemorating the Birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will be held under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Friday Friday, 5th September at 02.30 pm at the Masjidul Aroosiya Jummah Masjid Ground,Malay Colony, Ambalantota in the southern part of the island.
Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Gamagedara Dissanayaka Deputy Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs and Muneer Mulaffer,Deputy Minister of National Integration and Ministers, Members of Parliament, Representatives of State Institutions, and Other Distinguished Guests are expected to attend the event.
The cebrations are being arranged by the ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs in cooperation with its Muslim department
