COLOMBO – Sri Lanka Islamic Arts and Literary Association had organized renowned writer Najmul Hussain’s “ VERAAKAA VERKAL “ Tamil short stories book launching ceremony at the MC Bahardeen Auditorium, Al Hidaya College, Colombo on Sunday, Aug.6
Dr. M. C. Bahardeen received the maiden copy of the book from chief guest Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Leader Rauff Hakeem MP.
Colombo Times Chief Editor and Arab News Colombo Correspondent Mohammad Rasooldeen, SLBC Advisor Hassim Omar, special guest Thinakaran and Thinakaran Varamanjari Chief Editor Senthil Velawar, SL Muslim Media Forum President N.M. Ameen, All Ceylon YMMA Conference BOT Chairman Khalid M. Farook, Head of the SLBC Muslim Service Rinoosiya Jaufer, YWMA President Fawaza Thaha and SLBC Artist Noorjahan Marzook also received the books from the chief guest.
