Saroja Savithri Paulraj was sworn in as the Minister of Child and Women’s Affairs.
If NPP’s primary condition for leading a ministry should be a person’s qualifications, skills, and political acumen, then what is Saroja Paulraj’s academic qualification and skills to be sworn in as the Minister of Child and Women’s Affairs, other than she is a member of the National Executive Council?
Similarly, the same question can be levelled against Ramalingam Chandrasekaran who was sworn in as the Cabinet Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, other then he was helping to Win Jaffna seat ?
It is affront to say, there are no Muslim educated professionals among those who elected newly elected MPs with political acumen.
This is a lame excuse.
Mowlavi Munir is a graduate who relentlessly and passionately canvassed for NPP. Is he unfit ?
I am not undermining comrade Anura’s judgement. I am having a high regard for him , but justice should be meted out equitably to everyone.
This is the first time in the annals of history , the Muslim community stood shoulder to shoulder with NPP and voted to power.
In honour of Muslim community, a cabinet minister should have appointed .
Even Gota’s racist regime, have appointed Ali Sabry, an outsider to a cabinet post.
We must not allow our community to use as ” Karapincha leaves” – take the aromatic essence then discard to the dustbin!
This exactly ,what has happened .
