No doubt, this year, you will remember the subdued mood of Muharram Hijri 1444, when your homes became your places of worship. When your celebrations were muted by the restrictions of the present crisis in the country.
As you gather in your mosques and homes to observe this joyous event let us resolve to always demonstrate the peace, love and equality which are the inherent features of Islamic teachings. Let us continuously direct our hearts towards strengthening our society based on mutual respect brotherly and sisterly love and universal understanding.
May Almighty Allah shower his choicest blessings upon all of us on this auspicious day.
