COLOMBO : A resolution to appoint a committee of inquiry for the removal of Inspector General of Police Deshabandu Tennakoon was handed over to the . Speaker of Parliament, (Dr.) Jagath Wickramaratne, on Tuesday, March (25). This resolution has been signed by 115 Members of Parliament.
This motion was submitted to the Hon. Speaker under Section 5 of the Removal of Officers (Procedure) Act No. 5 of 2002.
