COLOMBO ; The Muslim School Development Branch of the Ministry of Education organized the Celebration of the birth anniversary of the holy Prophet Muhammed on Monday Oct. 2
The event held at the Ministry of Education Auditorium, Isurupaya, Battaramulla, was presided by the Minister of Education Hon. Dr. Susil Premajayantha.
The special Meelad Speech was delivered by Muslim Affairs Co-Chairman of Inter Religious Alliance for the National Unity of Sri Lanka Al-Haj. Ash-Seyed. Dr. Hasan Moulana Al-Qadiri, Additional Secretary of Ministry of Education Mrs.N.N. Malavarachchi, Private Secretary to the Minister of Education Mr. Hemantha Premathilaka, Ministry of Education Publications Commissioner General Z.Thajudeen, Director of the Muslim School Development Branch of the Ministry of Education Major N.T. Nasumuddeen, higher officials of the Ministry of Education, principals, teachers, Colombo Royal College, Zahira College, D.S. Senanayake College, Hameed Al Hussain College, Malwana Al-Mubarak central college and School students, Many special guests including participated in this event.
