Muslim Foundation for Cultural & Development (MFCD) , one of the premier humanitarian organizations, collaborated with Suwa Sakthi Sanwidanaya Kolonnawa, organized a Children’s Day 2023 on the 26th of September at Kolonnawa Raja Maha Viharaya.
In a symbolic gesture, MFCD generously donated gift hampers to 60 differently-abled children and 20 differently-abled elders, profoundly underscoring the importance of love and warmth within our community.
The event was adorned with captivating dance performances and spirited competitions, creating an atmosphere of sheer enchantment for both differently-abled children and elders alike.
Adding to the honor of the occasion, Mr. Chaminda Paranamana, the Additional Divisional Secretary, graced the event as the Chief Guest, lending his distinguished presence to this heartwarming celebration.
The event was graced by galaxy of distinguished guests, including Mr. Senarath Bambaradeniya, Social Welfare Officer; Mr. Thusara Thadallage, Former Social Welfare Officer; Mr. Tharindu, Sports Training Officer; Mrs. Lahiru, Small Business Officer; Mrs. Thamara, Human Resource Officer; Mrs. Thusara, Counseling Service Officer; Mr. Herath and Mrs. Liyanage from the elder organization; along with Mr. Hanan Hussain, Chairman of MFCD Sri Lanka; Mr. Hasreem Ismail, CEO; Mr. Faariq Mahir, IT & Media Officer; and Ms. Fathima Naseera, Chairman of Suwa Sakthi Sanwidanaya Kolonnawa.
