COLOMBO — Memon Humanitarian Society distributed 250 school bags for grade one students’ for the third consecutive year. It was held at the St. Sebastian Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya Hall on Friday January 10 under the patronage of President of the Memon Humanitarian Society A. L. Anver.
The bags were distributed for needy children of the Zahira Maha Vidyalaya Wattala, Rahula Maha Vidyalaya Wattala, Mariam Girls College Colombo , Fathima Muslim Ladies College Colombo, Al Hijra Maha Vidyalaya Colombo, Al Hakeem Maha Vidyalaya Colombo and St. Sebastian Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya Colombo.
Principal of the St. Sebastian Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya Mrs. Roshani Preena Raban and Memon Humanitarian Society President A. L. Anver addressed the gathering.
St. Sebastian Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya School Development Committee Secretary S.S.M. Hassan, Past Pupils Association Treasurer S.A.C.M. Naushad, Assistant Treasurer A.T.M. Naushad, Dr. M.A.C. Kamaldeen, Dr. Rizwan Jaldeen , Principals of the Schools, teachers and students were also present.
