COLOMBO : Today, on this blessed day, September 5, 2025, marking the 1500th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), the Inter Religious Leaders of the National Interfaith Clergy Fellowship Ven. Dr. Sasthrapathi Galagama Dhammaransi Nayaka Thero, Shiva Shri Dr. Babu Sharma Kurukkal, Al-Haj Ash-Seyed Dr. Hassan Moulana Al-Quadiri and Rev. Fathe Dr. Nishan Sampath Cooray – have extended their heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Meelad-un-Nabi (the Prophet’s Muhammadh Birthday).
They stated that the Prophet’s (Peace Be Upon Him) legacy of compassion, peace, tolerance, and love continues to shine as a guiding light in addressing the challenges we face in today’s society. They expressed hope that his life and teachings will inspire unity, interfaith harmony, and mutual respect among all communities.
