COLOMBO: The distribution took place at the Masjid premises at a simple ceremony organized by the mosque management on Thursday.
The project was solely funded by philanthropists from Sri Lanka and abroad.
The special event started with the recitation of Surah Fathiha and Special Dua in Sinhala Language was attended by Ulama and members of other faiths. Senior Police officers such as Deshabandhu Tennakoon and other SSP and OIC represented Police.
