COLOMBO — The Malaysia Education Night 2025 Networking Dinner was held on Monday August 18 at Mandarina Hotel, Colombo with the participation of distinguished dignitaries, education leaders, and university representatives from Malaysia and Sri Lanka. The event was attended by Badli Hisham Adam, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Sri Lanka, together with Moeen ud Din Ahmad Khan, Regional Marketing Manager of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), Marshad Barry, President of the Sri Lanka–Malaysia Business Council (SLMBC).
As part of its delegation visit to Sri Lanka from 16–25 August 2025, EMGS aims to strengthen educational collaboration through school visits, career guidance seminars, and education fairs in 23rd and 24th at Marino Beach Hotel in Colombo. The initiative is supported by the Sri Lanka–Malaysia Business Council (SLMBC) as Strategic Partner and organized by Mway Pvt Ltd, an education consultancy offering personalized student solutions across multiple destinations.
The event showcased the presence of top Malaysian universities, including Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Asia Pacific University (APU), Taylor’s University, Sunway University, Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Lincoln University College, Raffles University, University of Cyberjaya (UOC), Netherlands Maritime University College (NMUC), Study PENANG, IPK College Penang, and Inti International College Penang.
Tokens of appreciation were presented to Badli Hisham Adam and Mr. Marshad Barry in recognition of their support, followed by a networking dinner where principals and teachers were encouraged to build partnerships and motivate students to attend the upcoming Study in Malaysia Education Fair 2025.
