COLOMBO – The Old Boys Association of the Madarsathul Darul Uloom , Maligawatte , Colombo had organized its 34th year prize giving ceremony was held at the Madrasa premises on Sunday October 8. It was held under the patronage of President of the Madarasa M. K. Ahamed.
Former Minister and Member of the Parliament A.H.M. Fowzie was present as chief guest and distributed prizes and certificates to the winners of the various contest.
Former Deputy Mayor of Colombo M.T.M. Iqbal, Colombo Grand Mosque Zakath Committee Chairman M.H.M. Zameer, Zeenath Trading Chairman A.H.M. Maheer, Colombo Times Chief Editor Mohammad Rasooldeen, Colombo Central ASP Minura Senarath, Officer in Charge Maligawatte Police M.B. Jayasinghe Wijeyawardana, Maligawatte Jumma Grand Mosque Secretary A.H.M. Iqbal, Maligawatte Jumma Grand Mosque Imam Ash Sheik Infaz Ahamed, Ash Sheik Ishan Ahamed, Members of the Maligawatte Masjid Federation and Madarasathul Darul Uloom, parents, students and old boys were also present.
