COLOMBO — Macktgiles Masterpieces had organized Buddhi Batiks Exclusive Unveiling of Luxury Tile Collection where the rich heritage of Sri Lanka was showcased on Tuesday July 2 at the Shangri-La Colombo, Ball Room.
Secretary, Minister of Defence General Kamal Gunaratne, Sagala Ratnayaka, Chief of Staff to the President National Security Advisor, Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva, US Ambassador Julie Chung, Malaysian High Commissioner. Badli Hisham Adam, Indonesian Ambassador Dewi Gustina Tobing, Chairman of the Macksons Holdings Milfer Mackeen, Managing Director Mizver Mackeen, Senior Vice President of Macksons Nilrukshi De Silva, special invitees, family members and staff graced the colourful evening ceremony.
A Panel Discussion was held at this ceremony. Macksons Holding Director and CEO Shimmer Milfer, Macksons Holdings Director and CEO Mizha Mizver Ismail, Buddhi Bartik CEO and Creative Director Darshi Keerthisena, and Head of Finance Macktiles Lanka Aaqil Farhaz took part in the panel discussion which highlighted the Mactile products and services.
Director Macksons Holdings Aqla Sajjaaad and Macksons Holdings Director Sarah Mizver were also present.
Mizver Makeen in his welcome address outlined the efforts of his company both in Sri Lanka and abroad.He stressed that a national concerted effort in the tile industry could take Sri Lanka to new heights by way of its quality products.
The program which ended with a vote of thanks by Amani Mizver which was preceded by a chain of entertainment programs which made the evening programme livelier.
A sumptuous dinner was served for all the guests at the end of the show.
