SEOUL : Sri Lanka’ Foreign Minister held fruitful talks in Seoul on Tuesday ,May 2 with the Asian Development Bank President during his visit to South Korea.
In a statement to Colombo Times, Foreign Minister Ali Sabry said : “ I had a productive meeting with The President of Asian Development Bank Masatsugu Asakawa.
I expressed Sri Lanka’s gratitude for the excellent partnership & cooperation with Asian Development Bank during a challenging period for Sri Lanka & for supporting our recovery process.

Whilst conveying the best wishes of President Ranil Wickremesinghe, I further sought technical support & financial assistance from ADB in the spheres of digitalization, agriculture, Renewable Energy & financial sector stability.
ADB President expressed his appreciation for the encouraging work Sri Lanka has done so far to avert a greater crisis & for laying a strong foundation for our recovery. ADB President pledged to continue engaging with renewed vigor in diverse & important areas of interest.”
