COLOMBIO :The Cabinet of Ministers approved a combined proposal by the Labour, Foreign and Health Ministers to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between Sri Lanka and Britain on Health Care Co-operation.
Co-Cabinet Spokesman, Plantation Minister Dr.Ramesh Pathirana said that the two countries have agreed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) enhancing cooperation in the health sector and affirming the rights of healthcare professionals working in the United Kingdom.
Sri Lanka will be able to access emerging employment opportunities in the UK health sector subsequent to the UK withdrawing from the European Union.
