COLOMBO : SriLanka has improved its global ranking by seven positions, according to the UN’s Sustainable Development Report 2021,released here on Wednesday, June 16.
Responding to the report, Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa said here on Wednesday that the country’s commitment is well reflected in the annual report of the United Nations.
“ We will continue working to upgrade the quality of life and bring prosperity to our citizens,” the president added.
The Sustainable Development Report tracks the performance of all 193 UN member states on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)
