COLOMBO — The Asia Miracle Awards 2025, which recognizes outstanding performers in various professions, was held in a grand manner on the Monaday June 23 at the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo.
At the event, Deputy Editor of Silumina Newspaper, Tharaka Wickramasekera received the award for the best investigative journalist in the country from veteran filmmaker Jayangani Dikkumbura.
Thinakaran Newspaper was adjudged the best Tamil Newspaper in the country, with Thinakaran Chief Editor Senthil Velavar receiving the award, while the award for best feature writing in English media was won by Daily News Features Editor Sachitra Mahendra.
